Get ready for a heartwarming farm experience as you spend time handling one of our adorable ducklings. At just 2–3 weeks old, these little ducks are the perfect age for a gentle, memorable encounter.
Your visit begins by checking in at the Parlour with Farmer Paul, who will give you a short safety briefing before guiding you over to the Duck Barn for your experience.
Who Can Take Part & Tickets
This experience is suitable for adults and children aged 2 years and over.
- Tickets £7.50
- One adult may accompany a child free of charge to help supervise and support them with handling their duck. They do not need to book a ticket.
- A second adult may attend for £2.50, payable on the day. They do not need to book a ticket.
- One ticket = one duck.
What to Expect
Once you arrive at the farm area, you’ll begin by dipping your feet in our disinfectant solution to help keep our animals safe — so please remember to wear wellies.
Inside the Duck Barn, seating surrounds the pens so you can sit and relax during your time with your duck.
Farmer Paul will then bring each ticket holder their very own duckling, gently wrapped in a small blanket. The blanket helps keep the duck calm and cosy while you enjoy this special hands-on moment.
You’ll have 15 minutes to sit, hold and spend time with your duck, before carefully returning them to their pen.
At the end of the session, everyone will visit the handwashing station to wash their hands and dip their feet in disinfectant again before heading back to the Parlour.

- This activity is not recommended for pregnant or immunocompromised individuals.
- Food and drink are not permitted while on the farm.
- Hands must not be placed near the mouth or nose during the activity.
